Reference Data Used by Specific Features
1. WHO Growth Reference Data
Bebblo bundles WHO Child Growth Standards reference data for weight, length or height, and head circumference. For ages 0–24 months, the app calculates z-scores from WHO LMS tables. Other growth views may interpolate between bundled percentile bands and label the result as an estimate.
Measurements are entered by the parent. Device input, age, sex, prematurity adjustments, and the selected reference view affect the result. The app does not assert that its screen will match every clinic's chart or replace professional interpretation.

2. AAP Educational References
Selected developmental red-flag and safe-sleep educational content cites American Academy of Pediatrics material. Source labels describe the reference; they are not an endorsement of Bebblo or individualized guidance.

3. CDC Developmental Activities
Age-based developmental activities in Bebblo cite CDC's "Learn the Signs. Act Early." program. They help families discuss development and do not score, diagnose, or clear a child medically.

Sleep Guidelines
Safe-sleep educational copy cites the AAP policy statement and summarizes back sleeping, a firm and flat sleep surface, and a clear sleep space.
Age-based sleep ranges and regression context are general guidance. Bebblo estimates a next-sleep range only from age and sleep entries recorded by the user; it does not diagnose sleep problems.
How References Appear in the App
Reference datasets and educational copy ship with a specific app release. Where a feature uses an external health reference, Bebblo identifies that source and keeps the result separate from the parent's own entries.
- WHO LMS calculations use fractional age for supported 0–24 month metrics.
- Other growth views can use interpolated percentile bands and are presented as estimates.
- Developmental activities and selected red-flag guidance show their CDC or AAP context.
- Reference updates require a reviewed app release; Bebblo does not silently fetch clinical guidance.
